In Tennessee at that time, it was a courtroom custom for the bench to address both counsels as "Colonel". It was a courtesy title and had nothing to do with one's military record. According to the transcript of the trial, both Bryan and Darrow were so addressed throughout.

Southern California has a large Spanish speaking population. Many of the town and city names are in Spanish i.e. Los Angeles, San Diego, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, La Jolla etc. Even Anaheim, the home of Disneyland, means 'Ana' (referring to the Santa Ana River) and 'Heim' from the early settlers of German descent meaning 'home'... so literally 'home by the Santa Ana River'. Disneyland has long celebrated cultural diversity and should be commended for it.

They do the same for halloween, and christmas right?! You know the movie is themed for both. So they do the same with it. Was SO much better to use that for christmas i think :/ because, it's always suppossed to be "scary" then they just ad the christmas theme of the movie. But with halloween, i'd prefer if they'd do another thing!

so they don't do this at disneyworld? what does disneyworld do for halloween? if anyone knows let me know because i am finally at 21 getting to see the disney resort in florida next year and want to know what version of the haunted mansion i will be able to experience
